Team France are Stoked with All Smiles as they Fly to St. Petersburg for Belgium Match

Last Saturday’s match between Belgium and Brazil has led to Brazil’s goodbye to the World Cup, sending Belgium home with a 1-2 leading scorer. With Belgium advancing to the next round, France will have to be ready to face Belgium in the semi-finals tomorrow, July 11, Wednesday.

Captain Hugo Lloris, along with star player of Manchester United, Paul Pogba is out and about as they head to St. Petersberg ahead of their World Cup semis against Belgium. Pogba is seen posing with Raphael Varane in a photo posted on social media via Instagram. The players are looking fresh and excited for what’s yet to come for France.

2006 was the last time France was able to make it to semi-finals making preparations all the more riveting and exciting. France is ready to give their all and fight for the chance to win the World Cup championship title the second time in history since 1998.

France will be attending the semis as bookies’ favorite to win the cup altogether.  When asked, team captain Lloris admits that Belgium should’ve been the crowned favorite. Lloris says “I don’t think so. A nation like Brazil with all its talent and history has to be the favorites and if Belgium beat them then that fact will make them favorites.”
